This year during Lent we will be doing a study called Living Fully Dying Well by Bishop Ruben Job. The first part of the study is about how to live the kind of full abundant life that God desires for all people. Part of our challenge in living life abundantly is that we get caught up in the business of our lives. True abundant living requires taking the time stop and reflect on the gift of life that God has given us. Lent is the perfect time to stop and reflect on our lives as we prepare for Easter. These 40 days of Lent have for generations called Christians to give up something and spend time with God. The last part of the study will be about what it means to face death as a Christian. Easter reminds us that Christian believe that death is not the end. So we will be talking about what it means to talk about life death and the life to come. This is study is for all the adults in our church. Each of us is seeking to live a rich and abundant life and each of us has question about what the end of life means. I hope that church always serves as a place where we can talk about the issues the we face in life. If you would like to participate in the study it begins February 21st at 6PM. There are books available for 10 dollars please tell Pastor Caleb if you would like one.
